BCB performed their summer concert at The Regent Centre under the heading of Heroes of British music, feasturing music by Elgar, Holst, Lloyd-Webber, Lennon McCartney, Handel and much more. The band also played some popular melodies from around the Isles.
The band's soloists were on top form including the premiere of a new Euphonium solo. The band also played two movements of the test piece Roayal Parks which they had played at a contest in Bugle a week earlier.
