BCB - Last Night of the Proms - The Regent Centre, Christchurch / The Mowlem Theatre, Swanage

 

September saw BCB perform their Last Night of the Proms concert at The Regent Centre and The Mowlem Theatre to packed audiences.
The first half of the programme featured a mix of French/Russian music while the second half concluded in the traditional manner. Also featured was the premiere of a Euphonium solo called 'Forever', superbly played by John Hanchett (regent) and John Starkes (Mowlem). The audience were in cracking form at both venues with whistles, horns and flags resplendant throughout the theatres while participating with the band in Don't Stop me now and the usual 'Proms' numbers.
